Important Announcement

In order to have the paper published on the Springer LNCS/LNAI proceedings:-
1) The final manuscript publication files must be uploaded on PROSE not later than 15 June 2007, and
2) By the same date at least one (different) author per paper must have completed the registration procedure and payment must have been received.

If a complete correct set of publication files is not uploaded by 15 June 2007, or if registration with payment has not been made by this date, it will be necessary to withdraw the paper from the Springer proceedings.

Thank you for co-operating by adhering to these final deadlines. There will be no further deadline extension.

Fees and Charges

Full Registration

Registration at KES2007 brings attendance at the conference; a paper in the proceedings published by Springer; and in addition, a year's membership of KES International, including subscription to the KES Journal and discounted rates at future KES events. This represents a great package!

Full registration is an inclusive rate comprising:-

• Attendance at the conference for three days
• Morning and afternoon tea and coffee each day
• A three-course lunch each day
• One ticket for the welcome social event
• One ticket for the conference banquet
• Publication of one paper in the conference proceedings (conforming to the published conditions concerning submission, length and deadlines)
• A copy of the conference proceedings on CD or other electronic format (USB drive)
• Membership of KES International for 2008 including:-
  -- A year's subscription to the KES Journal for 2008
  -- Discounted Registration to the KES2008 conference and other KES events (please see our Terms and Conditions)

Student Registration

Student registration is available to those providing a letter on headed note-paper from their University signed by their Head of Department/School confirming that they are a student on a programme of research.
Student registration is limited to the first 50 registrants. After these are taken students must register at the Full rate. Each student is allowed only one registration at the student rate.

Student registration comprises:-

• Attendance at the conference for three days
• Morning and afternoon tea and coffee each day
• A three-course lunch each day
• One ticket for the welcome social event
• Publication of one paper in the conference proceedings (conforming to the published conditions concerning submission, length and deadlines)
• A copy of the conference proceedings on CD or other electronic format (USB drive)

Extra Charges

There will be additional charges for the following items:-

• A copy of the printed proceedings 175 Euro per three volume set (approx half list price)
• Papers longer than eight pages 100 Euro per page
• Ticket for the conference banquet (included in Full Registration) 75 Euro
• Publication of more than one paper in the proceedings - multiple papers are not encouraged and delegates are restricted to one paper per registration.

KES Membership

How do you qualify for the KES member rate?

IF
you registered for KES2006 or AMSTA-07, attended and presented a paper that was published in the proceedings
OR
you registered for KES2006 or AMSTA-07, attended and did not have a paper published in the proceedings
THEN
you qualify for the KES Member rate.

If you did not attend the conference or symposium, or did not present your paper, you do not qualify for the KES Member rate.
